Joseph is a professional dance competitor and ISTD certified instructor.He was fortunate to begin his
dance training under national champions Ken & Sheila Sloan, whose knowledge and teaching style
remain his most significant influence. Throughout his career, he continued to receive instruction from
many of ballroom dance's most influential coaches - Bill & Bobbie Irvine, Oliver Wessel-Therhorn, Glenn
Weiss, Nadia Eftedal, Charlotte Jorgensen and Susannah Cuesta, among others. His dedication to the
study of body mechanics is far reaching, and he has cross-trained extensively in martial arts and fencing
in order to offer his students a fuller understanding of movement. Joseph is available for group lessons
and private coaching at Dance Asylum.
