What is your budget for dance lessons? You will be able to dance by the end of your first lesson. What’s the advantage of private lessons? Or group classes?
The advantage with Private Lessons are learning at your own pace, focusing on your dance needs, and being able to schedule dance lessons around your schedule whenever you would like. You will be able to technique and styling quicker than most students could learn in a group setting. We recommend Private Lessons especially for those who are getting married and would like a wedding routine choreographed to their special song. Private Lessons are also great for Students who are looking to compete and would like to focus on competition and showcases.
Group lessons will give you an introduction to different dance styles. You can meet new students who are interested in the same dance as you. Group classes are great for exercise and practicing what you’ve learned in your Private Lessons. It is also great for practicing what you learned in your private lessons. It is always fun and exciting to learn in a group setting. Try both out and you’ll see what fits you best.
Can I drop in any class?
You are open to drop into any class we offer. However if you’re a beginner we recommend asking the instructor before you enter any Intermediate or Advance Group Classes. Most of our group classes are drop in and not series unless specified.
What clothes and shoes should I/we wear?
Most students come in wearing nice comfortable casual clothes. We recommend wearing leather sole shoes because they don’t stick to the dance floor. If you’re bringing heels bring heels with straps at a comfortable height to dance. For Hip Hop you can wear work out clothes and tennis shoes. Pole Fitness you can wear tank top & shorts to change into along with some high heels.
Do I need a dance partner?
You do not need a dance partner to learn how to dance. We have students who come in without a dance partner and are able to dance with the instructor or another student. We will make sure you are comfortable and get the best out of your dancing.
